HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It has been such an amazing year full of ups and downs, going through some pretty challenging times yet also, achieving milestones and moments which I am pretty proud of. I turned 20 this past year as well, I wouldn't say I had an amazing birthday celebration but it was still good enough cause you'd notice who actually cared about you and stuff like that.

This year, I promise to take care of myself more for I have not been doing so lately. I will try to overcome this anxiety issue that has seem to taken over me as well as hopefully, be more open to vocalizing my thoughts to certain people and improve my public speaking skills. This year is about me. I will aim to discover more about myself and do more of the things I actually love. I realised, my mental, emotional and physical well-being, is much more important than any other thing. If I neglect any of those, I'd end up in a self-dug hole again. I will learn to love myself more and put myself first rather than always neglecting my own happiness. After all, I do deserve to be happy.

This year, I will keep a smaller circle of friends. Only those whom I find precious will be kept close while I will slowly shut off the rest. I realised that last year, having a huge circle of friends, is detrimental to oneself. I will not try to fit in any longer. That was really exhausting. I realised that having a close circle of friends that actually care about you is so much nicer than to feeling alone in a huge group of people. Thankfully, I don't have any huge social gathering to attend to anymore. I will learn to show my appreciation to those close to me rather than to keep quiet of my feelings and also be more open to people.

This year, I will aim to save more money. After having spent so much money on so many major and minor things, I really realised how hard it is to earn it all back. I've been spending and spending that I have been forgetting to do the most important thing - saving. I probably also have to get a job for myself after I graduate in May. Whether it'd be inside the industry or a random job I always wanted to try, I think it'd be nice to finally earn a little income and experience all by myself, right? After all, I am already in my second decade of life. If somehow, I manage to get a slot to further my studies, I don't think that'd be a bad idea as well, right? Well, that's if the opportunity comes to me.

This year, I also hope I'd be closer to my family... and get their understanding and approval of the things that I do.

I believe the year would be filled with many milestones. What I'd be doing through the year after graduation, I'm not quite sure yet but nonetheless, I shall just let life decide where it takes me.

To end this off, I pray for the good health and happiness for my loved ones. Happy New Year everyone, thanks for sticking by reading this blog of mine always. ♥
