Wednesday, December 2, 2015 @ 11:57 PM I wonder how things will be, ten years from now.
It's crazy to think that in ten years, I would probably be married, working and possibly even having my first child and we'd live in a lovely home which me and my husband would have designed ourselves. I wonder if I could afford myself a motorbike or even a private estate for us to live in.
I actually started this post because I'm currently having some really bad heart palpitations from the Starbucks I had earlier so I thought this would be a good way to get my mind off the fuzzy feelings I feel inside of me.
I also can't believe I'm actually turning twenty in like 19 days. Oh by the way, IT'S FINALLY DECEMBER!!! My birthday month. I wonder what will I do to celebrate my day actually, I honestly don't really have plans for that. I wish I could host a party but then again, I'm such an awkward turtle that parties also ain't really my thing and I don't know who to even invite. But oh wells, hopefully I can spend it together with the people I love and enjoy spending time with.
Okay my main point of this post is for me to imagine my future home cause I've been wanting to do that for so long!? A girl can dream, can't I? We do have to start planning early so I can like gauge how much I actually need to spend?!
I actually want a NAUTICAL & SCANDINAVIAN type of home. My main home theme must have like very earthy tones, like white and blueish tones with my light wooden furniture.

It'd be fantastic if we manage to get those maisonette type of houses. It's a good way to keep fit cause we have to climb stairs all the time, then can lose weight. (I will regret saying this in the future cause climbing up and down Zimri's house is already tiring)

I think we got a rough idea of how I hope my home will end up. But then again, this means A LOT must be prepared when we actually get ourselves a house and plan for renovation. That means A LOT of money must be saved then.
We also have to take into consideration of the pets cause me and my husband will definitely have pets. If he doesn't want them, then I ain't marrying him, HAHAHAHA. That means our furniture and stuff have to be pet-proof, later they shit or pee on the furniture then how?
And next up are my dream balconies, only because nowadays many upcoming houses all have a balcony in the unit.

Actually it'd be damn nice to have like a nice place to chill and drink tea or beer with my husband after a long tiring day!? So this die die must plan very well cause it will be our mini escape from everything. I actually kind of hope we stay on the top floor? Or at least in the middle then there will be plenty of wind to keep the house cool. If we have access to the ground floor from the balcony, that'd be fantastic as well?! Like we have our actual garden?! Then we could grow plants and have rabbits running all around them and all HAHAHAHA
And OMG I totally forgot about the bedroom. Wah if we have a private estate to ourselves, this will definitely be my top pick!? Like imagine we get to stay on the attic kind. Like childhood dream come true.

Actually the design doesn't matter that much cause we just focus mainly on one thing:
HAVING A VERY COMFY BIG BED TO SLEEP IN.
But I really want it to be like very earthy and simple with vintage kind of furniture. Then the stuff toys that we gave one another will be displayed on top of a hanging shelf, but then again, it'd be damn adorable if we still sleep together with our stuffed toys. Or perhaps we even hand them down to our future kids. Wah family goals.
Then on the weekends, we'd go for cycling trips by Punggol Promenade or go for long walks then exercise with the kids regularly then we'd bring them around to places that were a part of our childhood then tell them about how much things have changed and hopefully we'd be able to show them photos of how things used to be.
My future kids will be damn lucky cause their mummy will be designing their rooms very nicely with her wondering paintings. Jk, I hope by then, my drawing skills are actually much nicer than they currently are. Then they'd be talented as hell, just like their mum and dad. Jk, we aren't talented as hell but we'll encourage them to experience lots of things that I wasn't so blessed to go through.
But all in all, I hope everything will be very peaceful in my future and that I'd have some place to go home to after work. Then my husband and I will be cooking our meals together and hopefully, by then, our stomachs would be okay and perhaps even a miracle happens and I actually enjoy eating vegetables. (no choice, must set good example for the kids)
I feel so much better now and this post is rather judgmental but it's okay, a person can dream. To my future husband, I apologize for dreaming too much but I guess it's time for us to work real hard for our future together.
