As usual, because of my busy schedule, I was away for almost a month. I actually started on a post last week but didn't have the motivation to finish it. I've been really exhausted lately, due to the fact I just started on my internship two weeks back so basically my life recently has been like...
It has been so routine-like that I really miss my holidays. I missed waking up late and the comfort of my bed, just sitting on it and just watching movies/shows all day. I feel drained.
So forget about the work part. I have to update on the better days so let me get started on just a few of the major things that I wanna remember for long cause the other days were pretty mediocre.
WE WENT TO THE ZOO!!!! This would probably be in one of my favorite things this holidays cause we finally got to go to the zoo! I swear I felt like a 8 year old being so excited the previous night that I couldn't sleep so well. So we met up at Hougang and this boy went to the gym before going. Like who goes to the gym when you're gonna be walking alot today? Only my boy.

So we headed over to the zoo and surprisingly the bus journey wasn't as bad as I expected, my motion sickness didn't really act up but it was so nice that he kept on checking on me to see if I was feeling any nausea. We reached there afterwards and got a few photos at the sign board first. (see above)
I think I shouldn't write a composition about every single thing which happened or what we saw or whatever. I was just about to but then again, people would get bored of reading this eventually.
So we entered and we instantly felt like kids going to the zoo for the first time in many years. I was literally squealing with excitement whenever I saw an animal and I was like insisting Zimri to take a photo at the signs. And I got very disappointed when I heard that the Australian Outback exhibition was closed.

My heart just broke like that.

So we kept on walking to the other exhibits and became like total tourists. We were laughing at how this certain branch would be the perfect object for Ipo-e-tai tai cause it had so many spikes. Then Zimri took this photo.
And found out that he took a photo with a "tombstone." This was an object which was placed on graves of the ones who passed on. I had a good laugh at him for that afterwards. We spent a bit too much time looking at the red-butted baboons afterwards saying that these were our family goals. We then walked to the Elephants exhibit and took a short break after that cause we were so freaking exhausted by then.

I had to put these cause they look so damn cute

. We took a short walk to the Penguins exhibit afterwards and just stood under the aircons there cause I swear it was such a hot day. Notice how I changed out to a singlet because I sweated buckets just walking a few metres.
Dragged Zimri around afterwards cause I really had to see literally every single animal on the map. It was so tiring actually but I was so determined to see everything. We came to the Giant Tortoise exhibit and he was actually very fascinated at how big they actually were :') I forgot to mention, it was his first time visiting the zoo since he was 10. We passed this certain tunnel twice because I noticed that the porcupines and chipmunks were finally out. They were asleep and hidden when we first came over.
Look at my really excited face. He was laughing and comparing the similarities of me and those creatures cause he says I look so much like it. We then reached the Garden with a View and the view was just

, Amazing. And by the view, I meant with him in it.

Cheesy Lynn moment.
He looked very handsome here, Honestly, I fall in love with this photo every time and actually question how lucky I got to be blessed with a beautiful man inside and out.
I caught him doing this and this conversation happened.
Me: "Zimri, what are you doing?"

Zimri: "I'm looking for money."

Me: "Okay, hold on. Let me take a photo of this."

Okay, back to the post. We walked over to the KidsWorld afterwards where they had so many farm animals and we spent the most time just feeding goats and laughing at how we caught this goat drinking another goat's pee.

We walked over to the Fragile Forest afterwards and took a little too much time looking for the frogs in their mini houses. We actually made it into a game afterwards.

We entered the dome afterwards and this was probably my most favorite part of that day cause we got to go so close to the animals. This butterfly actually flew to my hand and he had so much difficulty capturing the photo that this was the only clearest one we had.
Notice how the focus on me and not on the butterfly? Hahahaha we tried.
We walked awhile more and there was a mother duck with her ducklings walking past!!!!! I think I really want a duckling after that, they were like so freaking cute waddling around. I was like spazzing to Zimri at how cute they were that I think he nearly wanted to drag me away until we walked and the bridge was full of ducks. OH MY GAWD. I'm not even kidding, they were like lined up on the bridge and didn't even budge until we walked by. We went to the upper deck afterwards and there were fruit bats around, okay just one in particular which was closer and we actually managed to witness it peeing. I think that was actually quite amazing since they had to flip themselves and hang and pee?!

We then saw some Lemurs and I became so excited because I used to watch this childhood show, Zooboomafoo so I was like OMG when I saw them that I was so occupied with taking a photo of them until I didn't notice that one was actually beside me. I sort of had a mini heart attack and nearly fell down the stairs when I finally did notice it. I then spent too much time attempting to take a selfie with them, poor Zimri was like standing there like oh lynn and captured this moment.

Lets just take a moment and realize how difficult it is to take a selfie with an animal especially when they're so occupied in their own world. It was such an amazing moment for me though. Thank goodness he didn't drag me away to move on. We exited the area and walked abit more to the Naked Mole Rat place then towards the African Outback. Like finally! But to my utter disappointment, the Lion exhibit was closed. WHAT THE HELL. But thankfully the Giraffe exhibit was opened otherwise I might send a complaint. I felt a connection with the giraffe here.

Now, nobody start judging me here. I really like this photo. I was so glad I got to see these and we came just in time for the feeding session so they came a lot closer afterwards. I even got to see the zebras!!! Okay, so we were walking then we came across this crying girl and so my instant "mother" mode came on and I was trying to console her cause she seemed lost and she was so terrified of me, my heart kinda broke then she walked off and then we realised her awful mother was standing 100m away and began scolding her for crying. Like what the fuck, woman, I would beat you if I had the chance to. That is no way you should treat your child.

I was so furious but then again, she is a total stranger so we carried on with our walk to the exhibit with the polar animals and we got to see Inuka!!! So happy that they finally upgraded her exhibit to a much bigger one and she even had a bigger pool and we came just in time for the feeding session.
Look at how happy it looks!!! We spent awhile at the area cause it had aircon (because ya) before walking to the open aired Orang Utan place. We were very entertained by their antics cause they were like hiding under this sack and bickering over it. There were others just hanging around too and baby ones. Oh my *faints* Super adorable.
They were so freaking adorable and the sight was so damn pretty I had Zimri to take a few photos there and he got kinda annoyed.

I'm sorry? I dragged him to the Snake House afterwards before we rushed over to the Splash Safari show and came just in time to see a few of the sealions' performances.
We then finished seeing everything so we decided to take the tram around afterwards cause we were lazy to walk any further but it was damn good anyways.
We looked so tired in the photos afterwards. So we finished the whole journey around the park, yay. We stopped by the souvenir shop afterwards and ended up getting some glow-in-the-dark keychains of a zebra and a polar bear cause everything else was so expensive.

Sian. We then took train back to AMK before deciding to have dinner at Sengkang instead where we had Pepper Lunch (dinner) before he sent me home. I totally crashed on my bed after a good shower and stretching session.
Definitely the best thing to happen during the holidays and especially thankful for a good day out with the boy. The weather was un-bear-able but he made it tolerable. I really can't wait to bring our kids over to these places in the future.
I was actually considering of typing another day of post but I think this would make the post rather long so I'll save that for another post. It's finally the weekends by the way and I still feel so tired.
(hi zimri, i love you)
