Heyyyy!! I'm back. I swear this week has been crazy packed but it was filled with so many moments. Warning: This post is very lengthy & emoji/picture heavy.
First of all, I chopped off my hair!!!

What have I just done.....
I may look like I am very happy with it but I was actually having a mental breakdown at the salon. Like the lady just chopped off my fringe and I just started panicking. It was pretty stupid how she asked whether I liked it because even if I said no, it wouldn't be possible for her to glue it back together, right? Thankfully, a week has passed since the haircut and it has grown onto me.
Monday, 9th March : Reunion with my Slytherins
After so many months of wanting to reunite, we finally got to do it! Though it wasn't full attendance, it was still very lovely cause we laughed like there's no tomorrow. Days like these don't come so often for me and it was very good medicine cause I've been feeling pretty down during that period. I didn't expect a voice recording being replayed 100x would be so funny. We had Nandos for the first time and the chicken was superb. Love the garlic bread and wedges especially.
Definitely feeling like a proud mother cause we're the last surviving FOWA "family." Okay, maybe some would say we weren't even a family to begin with but then again, whatever. Really love how they always call me "Mom" instead of my real name. Really heartwarming.
Friday, 13th March :
date
Nothing remarkably special about this day but it was very lovely cause Zim and I went to Holland Village after his Grad Show together and had some really nice dinner at this food court before we went to The Daily Scoop for dessert. As always, we had our Waffles & Ice Cream. I think we haven't had those since November or December last year?! Good to finally cheat on such sinful pleasures that day. He insisted that photo he took of me was damn nice though I think I look like I needed to shit badly. We had a good laugh on the way home, I really love nights like these.
Monday, 16th March : Excellence Awards
If you haven't already known, the club and I managed to get one of these prestigious awards. It was really an honor to be one of the recipients for this award and even get a special mention by the PCEO. I was actually blushing the whole time he spoke and Shafieq made things more annoying by nudging my shoulder the whole time. First award from the school and hopefully not the last though I'm probably retiring from all of club matters the next school year. Got to meet many new people and made friends and it was really nice to find people with similar mindsets. That is rare. Thankful mom & sister got to go down as well despite our huge argument the day before and even Zimri got to meet them. Finally :') it was a pretty awkward for all of us but hopefully, they'll warm up eventually.
Oh yeah, we found this really cute monkey and I decided to get it for my mom's birthday.
17th March : DMIT Dinner & Dance
I think today was our wedding day. Everyone made it seem like it was. Okay, I'm kidding.
I actually made efforts to prepare for tonight. Wow. So I went to meet Zimri at Sengkang first (I was late

) before we took the train down to Telok Blangah. Yes, we took a train. In our attire. Judge worthy but it was fun. Reached Mt. Faber SAFRA afterwards and waited for the dinner to start. Had a nice time taking photos with everyone. I wouldn't post all of it here. No worries!

So the event started afterwards and we'll soon get to the part to why I said everyone treated it like it was my wedding with Zimri. They started the night with some Bingo and some unfortunate soul had to drink some weird mixture made by WC. I could have died cause they were making it at MY table. Oh gawd. Appetizers were served afterwards before they played some Pass The Parcel game and I was the unfortunate soul who had it. In my defense, it was actually Tim's then the asshole emcee decided that it was smart to make me one of the "fairies" and so we were supposed to do around throwing sweets but I was so mad at Wangchen who thought of such a weird game that I threw all of mine at him and they decided to get Zimri to wait at the end (ON HIS KNEES) so he could carry me back to stage. What? Wait. What.

So he did...... and I was very embarrassed and shy. Like oh.

Just look at him, he looks so excited. Everyone looks so happy and they're all clapping

while I was like

, "Oh gawd... is this for real?" The organizers must be so proud of themselves.
And then he carried me back to stage before I collapsed from embarrassment.

I legitimately felt fat when he carried me. All my fatness is caught on camera. I looked happy but I was actually panicking cause I didn't expect Zimri would do that or that he can carry me. But yeah, in all honesty, it was a very sweet moment for us.

We proceeded on to eat more food whilst Khai performed on stage and someone had this bright idea to turn off all the lights so we were kind of eating in the dark while he was performing. *facepalm*
They started the lucky draw afterwards and I was damn surprised they got
30 prizes!? And guess what, the first prize was a GoPro. So it was damn funny to see people's reactions when their names got called up cause it meant they won something else.

Poor souls. I had to pick the numbers too and I felt bad HAHAHAH. Though I was missing out on all the food while I was on stage and I needed to pee so freaking badly too. So just when I was back on my table, they decided to play a couple game and guess which pair was called? Zimri & Lynnette.

I hurried to the toilet just to pee.. so the boys had to sing songs to the girls. And when it came to Zimri's turn, Tim decided to videotape the whole thing.

Doesn't Tim look like a proud father?

I thought it was very brave for the boy to sing cause he never actually did that before?! Though we were both

when the songs started playing cause he didn't know the lyrics and it was VERY awkward. But this just made me love him even more cause he pulled through just to do it.

Super touched even though you can't sing, Zimri.

I still love you to death. So in the end, we didn't win the best couple award. Pffft.

I laughed when I saw this photo cause imagine if they really didn't let me win the prize, I'd actually tear up okay. I was literally dancing and jumping around in my heels cause I was in such disbelief and overjoyed that I finally won something!? I'd post the whole sequence of my celebration but it was really epic so I'll just post this .gif of my reaction.

The event ended afterwards and we spammed tons of photos. Everyone was actually trying to steal my GoPro away from me so I held it with me for 85% of the time. There was this one time, they stole it and hid it in their bags. Like I was like freaking out okay. So like I said, spammed tons of photos and celebrated with Zimri cause we were both like, "OMG GOPRO!?" He was like, "I was damn happy you won cause it means we both won."

Ended the night with this lovely photo of us.
He said I've gotten alot heavier and my tummy looked so obvious in the photo. Sighs. At least I'm not skins & bones. His dad offered to fetch us home afterwards and unfortunately for me, my motion sickness acted up and I vomited in the car. What a way to end the night.

but then again, the rest of the night, totally made things up.
Thanks to the organizers who made this night very special.

So after we won the GoPro, we decided to get the helicopter that we've been eyeing on on Monday! Such relationship goals. We went to have Saizereya again cause it was too damn good to not have it. Went to Toys R' Us afterwards and we became total kids again. I think it's very rare to find someone whom you can really click with and not be afraid to show that childish side of yours to them.

We decided to go have some dessert and decided to try Milk & Honey, some artisan yogurt. Been hearing raves and seeing photos of it and so glad to finally try it! So we shared a petite yogurt with honey, vanilla sauce and their signature crust. The cost was reasonable but the taste was

!
Headed down to Mustafa afterwards and spent a long time decided on what helicopter to buy. We were actually eyeing on this drone but when the person let us see it's exact size, we both were shocked at how tiny it was! It was like the size of my palm

Hahahaha what. So we ended up getting the helicopter we originally wanted and my giant monkey. We had many judgmental stares from people carrying those two home but I guess they're probably thinking how cute we both are.

Relationship goals much?
Thursday, 19th March : Prep Camp
It was prep camp though I was just there for the second half. Nightwalk was okay but like I told people, it could be much better. The boy bought me dinner cause I was too busy helping them around and even some salmon sashimi

he kind of nagged at me cause I ate so slowly cause I talked to people while I was eating. Ahhhh, what he does to make me love him more. Rushed home afterwards and I was damn glad his mom came to fetch him home from my place cause I think I'll feel damn bad if he had to walk home.
Friday, 20th March : Mom's birthday
I honestly didn't expect my post to be this long. I'm sorry but please bear with me for a while more.
So my mom finally turns 49 and she seemed pretty happy with all of the surprises we made for her. We went for dinner at Fish n Co' that day and I nearly died from all of the eating. I have to post this photo cause all of us looked so adorable, especially my dad.

// Reunion Night
This day was crazy, funny, epic in so many ways. So because of my boy missing me, I decided to go over to his place and play with our helicopter & GoPro! We went for lunch first at Hougang Mall and for a short while, he was uncontactable so I was like, "Okay... so where do I go?" So my instincts lead me to the food court and true enough, he was there at that level! Our telepathy game strong. Had some really good aglio olio from this western place before buying a few stuff then heading to his place. He ended up falling asleep on the floor. I didn't know until he actually started snoring. HAHAHA WHAT.

So I decided to let him sleep for awhile before we went down to play with the helicopter.

So we were both

and we just stood there figuring on what to do. So I thought of climbing and shaking the branch so he gave me a lift to get up on the tree and so I tried to shake it but the branch was too thick for me to shake it whilst trying not to fall and injure myself so he went back to his place to get a bamboo pole. So he came back and realised it was still too short but then we realised it was just his arms which were short cause I could use the pole to shake the branch. So I spent the next 15mins attempting to shake the helicopter off the branch

and that didn't work so he gave me a lift on his shoulders and I dangerously tried to shake the branch again whilst sitting on him praying I won't fall backwards. I guess this builds up our trust levels.

Though I was legit scared of falling. We were judged badly by this group of teenagers nearby, hmph the least they could do was offer some help rather than just stare at us from time to time?
So we both gave up and he went back to his place to get another bamboo pole and some tape cause it was very hard to continuously attempt to shake it off. Though I was still very stubborn to continue shaking it till he came back. And guess what, he came and I literally just died there on the stop cause he brought a ladder down. A FREAKING LADDER. Like hey Zimri, you could have brought that down a lot earlier to save us from the trouble and all of the dead flowers which landed on my head. I was so mad I threw my slipper at him.

I finally managed to get it down afterwards with him holding the ladder. Yup, thanks Zimri. I won myself some wife material points for the whole experience. We had a good laugh over what just happened though.

I was covered with sweat, tree sap and had tons of dead flowers on my head which he was trying to remove so I ended up going for a shower to wash myself up cause I still had to go for Reunion Night later that day. Really love the new top which mom got for me btw.

He sent me off at the MRT before I went my way to meet Imran and Eileen. Headed over to Camp Challenge afterwards and I was legit in shock at how crowded the place was. So I met my grandkids from Eskimo and I was actually very happy cause everyone was so welcoming and all despite me being away from SPSU activities/camps for very long.

Joined them for their campfire afterwards and got pulled away to help prepare the boys for shim night. Really crazy funny seeing how clueless their facial expressions were when they were told they were gonna be shims.

The whole room was crazy cause everything was being thrown around the place while we were dressing them up. I ended up staying till 11.50pm cause I just had to watch their performances when me and Imran planned to leave the campsite at 10pm. Oh the fails. Ended up taking a cab home with Janelle and totally crashing at home afterwards. Definitely a good "homecoming" though.
Omg, I'm finally done with this post. Yeap, you can see how crazy the past two weeks have been for me but really, this is really the best week so far.
I'll be back soon.
